Willie Mae Rock Camp (WMRC) is a nonprofit music and mentoring program dedicated to empowering girls and gender-expansive youth. Our programs explore the intersection of music, technology, and experimentation to spark curiosity and creative exploration through a social justice lens. 

We seek to lift the voices of those who have historically been silenced, and our programs directly address opportunity gaps in electro-acoustic music education and technology pathways for underrepresented young people.

FREDRICK FOXTROT — Multidisciplinary musician and experimental synthesist based out of NYC

GOCCO — Experimental, electronic, lofi multi-disciplinary artist

JACK LIVESEY — Collage artist based out of New York City

JON HATCH — New York musician, songwriter, performer and composer currently focusing on electronic music featuring modular synthesis

KID R3N0 — Digital visual artist in the study of algorhythms and creating things from code

S4Y — Computer programmer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY focusing on tools for performance, live music visuals, immersive art installations, 3D virtual spaces, systems programming, and electronics

STARLYBRI — Multidisciplinary experimental media artist from the Bronx who makes dreamy and introspective work. Her main inspirations stem from magical Black femme-ness, subversive small press and community idea sharing

SUBJECTIVIZE — Electronic modular synthesis musician and interface creator based out of a NYC

MIDHEAVEN NETWORK is a brave, generative space of healing and for the building — not “rebuilding” — of a fully inclusive society. MIDHEAVEN EXISTS IN PARADOX: FROM MANY, ONE.
